Robert Phillips is the principal of Phillips Taglieri. He gained a Bachelor of Laws with first class honours from the University of Tasmania in 1974 and was admitted as a practitioner of the Supreme Court in 1976. He specialises in personal injury and other tort litigation and appears regularly as counsel in The Supreme Court.
Robert is married to Peta and they have two adult children. He enjoys fly fishing for trout in the highlands of Tasmania.
Renato Grassi obtained his Law Degree at Sydney University in 1973. He is a former resident of St John’s College at the University and was also a graduate of the inaugural College of Law in New South Wales. He practiced law in New South Wales for 11 years before moving to Tasmania in 1985.
Renato specialises in conveyancing and property law, commercial law, will and estate planning. He believes that regular communication with all his clients is the best way to provide an efficient, personal and professional service.
Renato plays social tennis and walks regularly, and is an avid sports fan, particularly of cricket.
Dean Cooper gained a Bachelor of Law with Honours from the University of Tasmania in 1973 and was admitted as a legal practitioner in 1976. Dean is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Dean works primarily in the area of Civil Litigation with a particular emphasis on personal injury and workers compensation. He has appeared regularly as Counsel in the Supreme Court and Workers Rehabilitation Compensation Tribunal.
Dean has appeared regularly as Counsel before the Tasmanian Racing Appeal Board and he is Legal Counsel for Harness Racing Australia. Dean was a Director of TOTE Tasmania and is currently the Deputy Chairman of Tasracing.
Greg Dolliver has a Bachelor of Information Systems and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours in Law from the University of Tasmania.
Greg was admitted as a practitioner of the Supreme Court in 2005. Greg has experience in a broad range of Civil Litigation, including personal injury claims, worker’s compensation, debt recovery and contractual disputes together with representing clients on a range of criminal matters.
Lisa graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) in 2013. She completed her Diploma of Legal Practice with the University of Tasmania in 2014 and was admitted as a practitioner of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in August 2014. She has been at Phillips Taglieri since her admission.
Lisa also holds a Bachelor of Science (Health Studies) (Hons) and in February 2016 was awarded a Graduate Certificate in Conflict Management and Resolution from James Cook University. Originally trained as a General Nurse, Lisa has worked across a broad spectrum of clinical areas.
Lisa’s interest and current focus lies in the field of medical negligence as it allows her to draw upon her health background.
Peta Phillips background is as a teacher. She commenced work with Phillips Taglieri in 1996 as Office Manager.
Over the years her administrative role has also expanded to include litigation support particularly in major personal injury cases.
In her spare time Peta enjoys travelling, cooking, walking her border collie and spending time with her three grandchildren.
